I hope everyone is doing well and that you've all enjoyed YUMI!
I wanted to reach out and let you know about our new campaign, which is quite a bit different from Yumi, but may be of interest to some of you. It's an original graphic novel by Doug Wagner & Daniel Hillyard, called NARCO.
NARCO is a suspenseful story of murder, love, friendship, and betrayal—a ‘Hitchcockian’ thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat as you try to unravel the mystery of ‘who killed Jessica Wright?’ —all while our protagonist tries to keep from being the serial killer’s next victim.
This is a two-book campaign, where we're also offering a deluxe edition hardcover of Doug and Daniel's wildly popular serial killer series, PLASTIC. Hi everyone-- I wanted to touch base and let you know that last week it was brought to my attention that some of you still hadn't received your YUMI books and Add-Ons. This was a bit of a surprise, as our fulfillment company started shipping weeks ago, but apparently they ran into some issues and got behind. The good news is a large batch of orders went out today, and the rest will be out the door over the next few days (if not tomorrow).
The only items that will not ship this week are the Metal Cover books, as we are still waiting on those from the printer, but they will be shipping to us soon and we will turn them around and get them headed your way ASAP.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, and be assured that we will stay on top of this until everyone has their pledge items delivered safe and sound.

Finally, the news we've all been waiting for-- your YUMI books are at the fulfillment center and will be shipping out over the next week (Yay!). The books started getting packaged up today and will start hitting the post office in the coming days, so be on the lookout for an email with your tracking info as the packages are delivered to the post office.
The only items we are waiting on are the Metal Cover books, as they had to be sent to a separate printer to have the metal cover applied once the books finally made it to us here in the US.

Quick Shipping Update

I just wanted to let you all know that our books have been successfully delivered to the port in Los Angeles, and will be heading to our fulfillment partner later this week (Yea!).
It's hard to say for sure, as LTL trucking freight is a bit unpredictable at the moment due to the driver shortage, but hopefully they will be at the fulfillment center in 2 weeks or so, and then boxed up and headed your way.
If you added items like card sets or trades to your order when checking out via Backerkit, those items will hit your credit card in the next few days, so be on the lookout for a charge from 12-Gauge Comics. Also, if you ordered extras and have since cancelled the credit card you paid with at the time, you will need to update payment (we will contact you if that happens, but just letting you know).

Shipping Update

Great news everyone-- the YUMI books have been printed and are scheduled to be on a cargo ship and headed to California later this week. Estimated arrival at the port in Los Angeles is the end of the month. From there it gets a little cloudy, as COVID-related delays are still causing it to take a few weeks to get containers unloaded from the boats and to the destination warehouse; once they do hit the warehouse, they will then ship out via an LTL freight truck to our fulfillment center, and a few days later they'll be shipping to you. Yea!
With that in mind, we will be starting the final payment process shortly, so if you added anything to your order in Backerkit, those charges will hit your cards in the next few weeks (just an FYI).
Also, I dropped the ball on the Avatars, as Hoyt reminded me today. If you pledged at a level where you are owed a custom avatar, we will be in touch ASAP.
